35 years ago a screaming baby came into the world and hasn't stopped screaming since. At first I was so excited about this new, squirmy pink baby doll but then she wouldn't stop screaming & took all the attention off of me so I asked my parents to take her back to the hospital (true story). Over the past 35 years she has continued to be annoying and constantly takes the attention off of me, UGH! She is definitely NOT a night owl, she has NO common sense and chomps her food the loudest! She IS extremely book smart, loves her kids, gets up every morning even when everything around her screams to give up, and she is the best little baby sister a girl could have! Love you & hope your day is amazing.

Year I was given: 2002 Age: 24 Age now: 38 Relationship status: non-existent Now: sadly, the same Living in: Alabaster, AL Now: Tijuana, Mexico Pets: dog Now: none Was I happy?: Of course Am I happy now? For sure Kids: 0 Now: do all my preschool kiddos count? Yes, then roughly 173 Job: preschool teacher, youth pastor, live-in nanny, childcare provider & restaurant hostess (yup, all at the same time, I was busy) Now: full time missionary and preschool & k-12 director & teacher Car: Chevy Corsica & then Honda Accord Now: None *anybody want to donate one to a missionary?? To those Millennials who have a passion to become the generation of destiny. This is not who you are and it is time for the Silent Majority of Millennials to rise and show us what kind of amazing people you are. You are being misrepresented by a multitude of kids who have been totally led astray by university professors (sheep without shepherds) who have taught them that they are entitled, taught them to hate America for all of its so called past sins and taught that they need to be comforted when life gets tough. (Watch the movie: America: Imagine a World Without Her - Dinish D-Sousa) and all that gets totally debunked. They have been taught that everyone should get a trophy and nobody should lose. They have been coddled where they need coloring books and Play Doh. That is not who you are and that is not how to face life. Life is tough and we certainly fail and lose at times. But we rise out of the ashes of failure and discouragement and become mighty leaders. Every great leader faces the ups and downs in life. You pick yourself up by the bootstraps and get on with winning with God's strength. Rise up dear friends and generation of hope and destiny. There is a right way to do social justice and there is a wrong way. The rioting going on right now is not the way to get the job down. It is whining. I'm not sure if this is 100% accurate or not but the idea is the same: You don't know exactly WHERE your donation is going!! Instead by giving directly to a missionary (like me) who you know personally, you can know & ask where that money is going!! 100% of your donations to us missionaries in YWAM go directly to the missionary and is used for personal & ministry related expenses for things like toiletries, food, education, etc. Many missionaries use their own monies to fund their ministries. As a teacher, like so many others, I purchase things all the time for my classrooms out of my pocket. (ps, I "made" around $8,000 last year, total). So yes, THINK before you DONATE, but most importantly, PRAY before you DONATE. Ask God to whom you should give and how much. #giveresponsibly #itsHismoneyanyways

It's officially November 1st which means that it is no longer Halloween & costumes are being marked down to get them off the shelves & out the doors. Why not take advantage of that and send a few drastically reduced costumes down to our preschool kids in Mexico.
